Pros
To learn there is no reason to stay. I met a tech that had been there for 20 yrs. No raise no check no party no acknowledgement of his loyalty or accomplishments. But he got a pin!
Cons
Downsides would be management, I was having no stop issues with my manager and even when I reached out to the higher up it seems it was important enough to get involved. I was asked if I knew how to read a book when I tried to find out proper procedures. I made mistakes and broke things like the tpms however even though it was my first (working) experience inside a garage I was expected to be perfect and know everything that needed to be done. I needed part time medically and it was a hassle to work the six hrs the Dr told me I could work. My manager forces more hours on me than my foot was capable of handling. I was ridiculed and made out to be dumb, stupid or any or all of the equivalents. I was told my several employees to watch my back as the manager would go around speaking Spanish and attempting to find ways to get me fired. By the end of January I had, had enough, I quit on January 27, 2024.
