Pros
Product support had a good rapport among themselves. Management preferred a hands-off approach whenever feasible. Easy access to office by train. Decent opportunity to see how market data and program trading work.
Cons
Certain clients abused the product support service; precise obligations to them were never clear, frequently causing stress among the staff. The software was >99% homespun and everything about it was unconventional. The product support interview was geared toward development, not product support.
