Pros

There are a lot of opportunities to expand you knowledge to different areas of the business. Work/life balance is the best of any company I have worked for. The benefits used to be top notch, but have been reduced in recent years. Still better than most other companies.

Cons

Poor senior management communication. Ford needs to change with the times and it is business as usual from decades past. The constant turmoil of the automotive industry puts a lot of strain on the employees.

Pros

Good benefits, 10 day's in July & 10 around Christmas time and new years shutdown, 4 day work week, all holidays,

Cons

Lots of stress put on supervisors, don't shutdown that line, they go crazy. Your stuck on a job until you bid off it.

Pros

Pretty easy job, low stress, good work life balance, nice people. If you just want a place where you can maintain a stable career, with decent pay, and a good work life balance, you could do much worse than Ford.

Cons

Terrible leadership decisions. ADAS got wrecked over the past 2 years. Most of the talented engineers that I knew have moved on. Part was intentional attrition via return to office mandates and the rest was just the fact that the talented folks who could easily get new jobs got frustrated enough to leave. If you're interested in deep technical work related to autonomy, robotics, ADAS, etc - Ford is not the place you want to be. All of the interesting work has been moved to Latitude, Ford ADAS is mostly just supplier management now.
