Pros

An array of unique products to try. A few standout coworkers that made working there bearable for a time, but they are far and few between.

Cons

Completely micromanaged. Notice the time stamp on the positive reviews: direction given from CEO and upper management to leave positive reviews in order to counter the negative ones being left. Felt like being in high school again. Very young sales/buying team that is extremely cliquey and unfriendly. Newcomers and current employees that were on the outside of the group, myself included, felt unwanted and easily replaceable, as well as not empowered to make any decisions. If you are intent on having a sales career selling produce, there are plenty of other companies I would look in to prior to applying here. Fair warning!

Pros

Well at least I got paid.

Cons

I actually have been severed from this company for longer than 4 years but I was not able to select my actual final year there. But I am writing this to protect new blood job seekers from getting mixed up in this catastrophe. I am not sure if she is there anymore, but the company's CEO (whom I will not name but she likely demands to speak to the manager often) at the time I worked there looked for every reason in the book to get rid of me after my boss resigned and made me feel like I was walking on eggshells everyday. She kept her instructions purposefully vague, was snippy when I asked for clarification, and blamed/gaslit me for performing assignments incorrectly. I was not the only one. Literally everyone there was fearful of her to the point where they threw each other under the bus when something went wrong. When did work become the hunger games? That CEO almost completely destroyed my confidence and it was one of the reasons why I went to therapy. Luckily for me, she did not succeed. I moved on to grad school and now have the title I always wanted. I've worked with other CEOs in my time since Frieda's and while yes they had high expectations and lost their tempers at times, they were never out to destroy anyone like this one tried to do and I could tell she enjoyed it. Schadenfreude city.
