Pros
Number 1 - the people. Unlike my previous jobs, I am excited to come to work every day not only because we do important work that is impacting the veterinary space, but also because my coworkers are a joy to work with (and hang out with). I haven't experienced politics getting in the way of progress, and it's easy to coordinate and complete cross-functional projects. Company culture values diversity and inclusion, and promotes a fun, collaborative work environment. Fuzzy leadership does a good job of checking in regularly and making sure there are paths at the company that can help you achieve your personal career goals . They work hard to create opportunities, and being such a small company there are plenty of responsibilities if you want it. Benefits wise I'm glad Fuzzy covers healthcare vision and dental 100%. The leadership seems to understand the importance of work-life balance, not demanding 10+ hour days as the norm. Taking PTO is supported and recommended (not like other companies who have unlimited PTO policies but regularly deny reasonable requests) Compensation is competitive and equity given is generous.
Cons
No 401k (yet, expected in Q1 2019 but we shall see), commuter or gym benefits. Wish our building had more windows and natural lighting. Re: the other reviews bashing leadership and culture, I feel that the leadership is very open to feedback and really wants to change things for the better. They send out surveys quarterly to check internal NPS and make sure employee satisfaction is increasing (and it has been so far).
