Pros

Great benefits. Medical, 401k and lots of support if you need time off

Cons

My office got acquired and we got blacked out on raises our first year with them. We had people quit and the workload just got split up between everyone. They didn’t hire anyone to replace these people. No compensation for taking on more work. I have personally asked for a pay increase. I have gotten a couple different responses, one that they are waiting for their budget and that corporate has to approve it. This has been going on for 3months. They talk about being the most ethical company but when they come to their staff it’s more work for less pay. Our IT guys runs so thin and hasn’t gotten a pay raise in 4 years. So far I am not impressed with how they manage everyone.

Pros

Great work-life balance as a remote employee. Management is approachable and genuinely willing to help when it comes to workload — you never feel like you're on your own.

Cons

Mentorship is largely self-driven. if you don't seek it out yourself, it won't come to you. Systems and internal processes can be slow and tedious, which adds friction to an already fast-paced workload. Compensation does not reflect the complexity or volume of work expected. High performers who are ready for the next step would benefit from clearer, more proactive promotion paths. When that structure is missing, talented people disengage quietly long before they ever leave.
