Pros
they pay very high wages and its unionized so the benefits are amazing. You dont need special skills to get started. training is provided just to give you a rundown of their regulations. Hiring process is simple. If you are desperate you should be working 1 month after applying.
Cons
there is a reason for the high turn over rate. The fridge is COLD. i had a special winter jacket at my disposal so i had an advantage yet you also need snow shoes to keep your feet warm and a hat and scarf as well. Your co workers can give you lots of contradictory advice and some just seem quietly vindictive. There are some co workers who are of course lovely. You WILL get graveyard shift. Their job post will say you can work mornings or afternoons but the ONLY option available would be the graveyard shift. You will work 10 hours a day, everyday. Twice a month you will work 8 hours. You HAVE to be a self starter and learn quickly about grabbing the best supplies for your work station that you set up every time you come in. overall you must be desperate or not have much of a social life to work here. also a back brace will help you A LOT.
