      Pros

      Lots you can learn in your first 18 months out of college. Salary isn't terrible. Staff level camaraderie. If you can get an office job, reasonable consulting hours. Some staff get to work on some interesting groundwater resource projects.

      Cons

      Management actively sabotages staff advancement. 0 career development. Wage/hour theft standard - Staff are expected to "get the work done". 16-18 hr days, and make straight time. 401k deductions frequently don't make it to your account. Vacations canceled, night shift work with 3 hour notice.

Over the past few years, we have made changes to standardize compensation packages, expand communication, and enhance manager training, including how to deliver and to receive feedback.

      Pros

      This is a business that takes care of its staff. Management allows a lot of flexibility for their staff and is always supportive professionally. I always look forward to walking into the office and working with this team on a daily basis.

      Cons

      There really is no downside to working at Geoscience. Management is always available to talk if there are any issues, and will work with you to find a solution.
