Pros
- Product discount - Paid Jewish holidays - Some coworkers are pleasant
Cons
- Company runs on nepotism, some of your worst colleagues are related to the owners - Many people with big egos in the upper management, and they all work separately from each other, making conflicting decisions - Some employees scream at each other across the office - Company tends to give low salary offers, so you have to negotiate - Raises are rarely given and you have to fight for every extra dollar - Very low morale among employees because they are overworked and treated poorly - Employees are asked to do additional work with no extra pay - Burnout, apathy and lack of motivation can be felt everywhere - Health benefits plan is so bad, it doesn't even cover vision care - No HR department, so you can't file complaints against coworkers who make inappropriate sexual comments - Work from home was not allowed during the COVID-19 pandemic. All employees were forced to come in person, even during multiple outbreaks at the office. If anyone had to work from home, they had to take a 50% pay cut - Office is old, ugly and dusty
