Pros

Green Chef is a newer company. They provide quality meals for their customers.

Cons

Green Chefs training system is inadequate. I taught myself everything that I needed to know to perform the job. I was promoted to team lead in my second week. Again, I received no training for that position. My crew treated me like garbage when they found out I was promoted. I let my supervisors know how I was being treated. They did nothing. One day I got tired of being treated so horribly by people that were supposed to be on my team, so I stopped being nice to them and got real. I told them that they needed to stop being disrespectful towards me and that they needed to start working as a team. I told them that I was done babysitting a group of children and that they needed to start acting like adults and do their job....... That night I was demoted. Instead of disciplining my crew, they disciplined me for disciplining my crew. I went in the next day. You think they treated me like garbage before, now that I was demoted they really treated me like crap. Nobody should have to deal with that kind of work environment.

Pros

Pay for exempt roles is competitive. Pay for hourly roles is too low. Benefits are great

Cons

All employees are treated as nothing more than a number. Don't be fooled by their "culture" and "diversity" groups its a joke.
