Pros
Good benefits and your team members are usually amazing (not management)
Cons
I haven’t worked here for close to a year (thank everything that is good) but I still think about the misery I experienced while at this job. My first piece of advice, if you are even a little overly empathetic DO NOT work here. You will have to listen to people terrified of losing everything they worked for due to the errors of this company. You have no solutions to offer them other than “I have sent this again to the correct team, but their follow up time is 60 business days. I hope your company doesn’t crumble due to tax fraud before then, good luck.” They then leave a review about how useless you are, which they’re not wrong. You are not given the tools to actually do anything. It feels awful. I woke up regularly in the middle of the night in a panic attack thinking about the next day of work. It is a truly horrible environment. The only thing that matters is your metrics, which are set to a truly impossible standard. As someone who holds themselves to a high standard everyday was a battle. You work your hardest, ask for any help you can get and it will NEVER be enough. They love to tell you how amazing it is to work here, how lucky to are to be apart of a company that cares so deeply, but actions speak louder than words. Good luck growing with this company. There is no room for growth and your constantly being told what a failure you are (in corporate speak, of course). From reviews it seems like non customer facing roles might not be the living hell this role was, but even if I was offered one of those I could never in good conscious ever work for a company that treats their employees and customers the way they do. And I beg of you, if you value a work life balance and your sanity do not fall for the lies like I and so many others do. Take a good hard look at all their amazing “5 star” reviews with zero actual content other than “great company”. I feel dumb for ever falling for the lies. I wish everyone still trapped in this job the very best. And do what’s best for you.
