Pros

I've been here for a while and lived through the time where we had several layoffs. We haven't had layoffs in several years. I really appreciate the flexibility and work/life balance I have here. I like my manager and my co-workers. The toxic people that were here, left a long time ago and I can honestly say, I enjoy all the people I work with. It's a small team, but everyone works well together and everyone here is friendly and genuinely wants to help you. I'm glad I stayed past the turbulent times because it's a really nice place to work now.

Cons

We are fully remote so we lose that face to face time. We don't have that many in-person events.

Pros

Wide open to your personally spearheaded, self-organized, grass-roots tech and devops plan(s) to make it all work better stronger faster cheaper, from the bottom up, especially if you're good at organizing such movements, at reading between the lines, and at discerning truth from the rumor mill. The leadership team is great at encouraging and cheer-leading, and is very positive over all, but increasingly hard to believe. Fellow workers are all smart, friendly, and hard-working. The stated mission of what HHS formerly stood for (and maybe still stands for) is an admirable and positive social goal.

Cons

Uncertain financial future. Not much in the way of plan, organization, vision, or direction coming from the top down. More than 5 consecutive quarterly re-organizations including layoffs, increasing tension and decreasing commeraderie among and across teams due to all the uncertainty. Uncertainty on integration between HHS and the parent company.
