Pros
Harness is probably the best company I've worked at in my entire career. We just hit 400 employees and it's just amazing what we've been able to accomplish. We're a company that's really going somewhere and the ride so far has been incredible. At the time of this writing, I've been here 7 months.
-Greatest boss. No micromanaging, lots of autonomy and trust.
-Great comp, 100% covered health insurance, dental, and vision. Supplemental life insurance costs, but it's super cheap.
-Stock options.
-Very frequent employee recognition.
-TGIF-Off program where we get a free Friday off every month.
-$500 remote stipend, broadband is reimbursed, so is cell phone.
-$50 food/drink allowance every month.
-401(k).
-Full remote.
-Great culture. Great focus on DEI.
-Women in tech are taken very seriously here.
-Chances are there's a 'club' for you. Lots of diverse interests represented.
-I barely ever have to work over my 9 to 5. Work/life balance in my department is amazing. I know it's not the same for everyone, but on my end, no complaints.
-The product is super solid and constantly improved upon and new features added. It's easy to work somewhere when you believe in the product.
I absolutely love it here and I can see myself staying for a while.
Cons
There's really not much in terms of cons.
-PTO is pretty standard - I'm surprised we don't do open time off or 3 weeks instead of 2.
-401(k) matching would be cool!
