      Stable organization in a mature market, opportunities for international assignments and international travel, good benefits, high degree of autonomy in working environment

      Cons

      Matrixed German organization. Unless you work at a corporate center, your opportunities for advancement are limited. High number of layoffs over the past 5 years. All decisions must go through corporate HQ in Germany.

      Good pay, Union job, not terrible work overall

      Cons

      Management lacks communication and micromanages immensely. Since packaging shut down, outlook on this plant is grim, with little to no positive affirmations from management regarding long term outlook. Zero room for growth at this site.
