Pros
Off Sunday, good team leads, could be fun at times. Good company values.
Cons
As a Co manager you are relegated to working as an hourly. Even though you are supposed to manage 50% of the time, it is more like 20%. Seasonal is your baby, but you are too busy playing stockman, CSM, ànd dealing with management issues that you can't put any time in it. Micromanaged is an understatement. Never enough hours even though the DM says otherwise. Walks with DM are a beat down of how ineffective you are. Boderline hostile work environment. DM direction contradicts what RVP says. I get more from RVP walks than from DM. Work life balance is horrible. Scheduled 8-5? Plan on being there at least til 6. Want to get a store close to home? Too bad, no transfers. I know of 3 Co managers that drive at least 45 minutes to work. High turnover is a direct reflection of the terrible leadership. One store in our district has had 5 managers in 4 years! Who's being held accountable? Any other company would have corp. HR parked at that store!
