Pros

Small Bonus end of every month and nice corporate facility that has a cafe and gym.

Cons

1. Attendance Policy: If you are very ill and have a doctors note, unfortunately, it is considered an unexecused absence. I personally known people to go to urgent caresand hospitals with notes to prove it, and didn't bother to present it to management because regardless of a "doctors note" it will be an unexecused absense. So yes, some people risk coming to work with an infection and illness and spreading it to others to avoid the repracussions of having attendance issues, even if it means risking the health of the in-office staff who may have weak immune systems. I do not agree with this policy, and most jobs do excuse absences with doctor notes but HICV do not care. 3. VERY LOW PAY: $16/HR with a once of month bonus after the 33% tax hit on it is about $2333/mo pay, if that. The pay is not competitive and the bonus is very low and challenging to hit. HICV doesn't care to help their staff with a livable wage yet expect them to meet close to 8 different metrics. 4. Ownership trap: Its unfortunate that HICV is filing for foreclosure against their senior owners, who have retired and living on limited income and simply can't catch up with their delq accounts. Their filing foreclosure and destroying the owners lives and expecting staff to ask a senior to forego buying groceries and medications , in order to pay for the condo maintentence bill. HICV need to help their senior owners better than Deed in Lieu, payment plans, refinance because they simply do not have it and its not ok to treat seniors this way knowing the economy is very very bad right now. 5. Schedule: In Training we were asked what shift we would like to work, with the understanding we may not get our desired shift but they will try to get you the shift you want as close as they can. We chose a primary preferred shift and a second preferred shift. Just to find out, once we're on the floor, that our shift selections did not matter at all and in-office staff all have the exact schedule. You have a different shift every day of the week, meaning Monday 9-6 and Tuesday 11am-8pm for example. Imagine being a parent, or college student with that type of schedule and yes it changes every 6 weeks. 6. OFSLL: HICV do not have the capacity/tech support staff to fix all the issues in Oracle so there are lot of glitches, failes and reboots. 7. Metrics: Yes they want you to collect a certain amount of money an hour and yes you need to be at your deak for 93% of the time begging struggling americans to pay their time share dues over their rent or personal mortgage lol. 8. NO GROWTH: The collections department really doesn't have room to growth, either your collector I or collector II.

Pros

You get exposure to different sales styles, personalities, and ways of handling guests. Some coworkers and leaders were genuinely supportive and wanted to see people improve. It can be a good place to build and learn how to think on your feet. The earning potential is there for the right person and the team environment itself can be fun and energetic at times.

Cons

Training and coaching experiences can vary depending on leadership style. Success often depends not only on effort, but also on access to mentorship, tour volume, and real-time guidance. Communication and expectations between departments did not always feel fully aligned, which at times created confusion around development and performance goals. During slower seasons, limited tour flow can also make it difficult for newer representatives to build consistency and momentum.
