The decision to reduce our staff was extremely difficult, but it was necessary for the long-term success of HotelTonight. There is no "perfect" way to do something like this, but we worked hard to treat all of our former team members as respectfully as possible.
The performance of the business has never been better. We’re growing 100% over last year, and will be profitable next year. I'm excited for the innovations that the team will release in the coming months.
We're proud of the culture at HotelTonight, and we provide the perks and host the events that we do because we want to create an environment that is fun, collaborative and where people can do their best work. The group-coaching is designed to help us all develop skills to make us all better at HotelTonight and wherever our careers may take us. Our internal surveys show overwhelming support for these coaching programs. We will continue to offer these things at HotelTonight, because the happiness and success of our team is a top priority for us.
