Pros

The salary is slightly higher than firms of the same size. However, they will work you for every penny they pay you and more. The higher salary will likely just go to your medical bills.

Cons

No flexibility - sick hours and vacation hours are tracked as if they are billable hours. Every time you leave the office, you must notify "HR" (which they really don't have one). You are not allowed to work from home unless you meet your billing requirements and give 48 hours notice. Micro-management: every aspect of your case handling will be managed and don't count on constructive feedback, career advancement, more like criticism and ridicule. Lack of an HR department to handle employees concerns.

Pros

Managing Partner is kind and welcoming. Pay and benefits are good

Cons

Be prepared to teach yourself everything. Your best bet is to ask other associates questions but they may not have the time to really help.
