4yHello, We select candidates based on an online Javascript, PHP, and software principles test. The key skills we are looking for are Basic Programming Skills, Analytical Ability, and English Comprehension.
Freshers are normally taken on a paid evaluation, where they are given an opportunity to learn basic Javascript and are evaluated to check on their programming skills, English comprehension, and analytical skills. If these skills are not found during the evaluation, then we end the paid evaluation so that we don't waste your time.
The topics we expect you to learn are those that we expect you should have already learned in your graduation - Basic data structures & Basic algorithms. We also expect you to be able to read English requirements and follow them.
We ask candidates to figure out some basic problems by themselves so that we can observe their problem-solving approach and analytical approach.
Before starting you on paid evaluation, we clearly let you know, that this is not a job, this is an extended evaluation - where you will get paid for your time.
We evaluate candidates using a variety of online resources, that depend on comprehension, programming skills, and discipline.
We have offered paid evaluation to over 120 candidates over the last 8 months, and given confirmed offers to over 10 candidates who have demonstrated the skills that are required for the job.
If you enjoy programming, have a good understanding of programming basics, algorithms, can understand English requirements and instructions, are able to dedicate 8-9 hours a day towards the training/evaluation ... there is no reason you will not be selected for a job offer.
Again to clarify, when you are selected for a paid evaluation, you are not being offered a job. You are being evaluated for a job, but being paid for the same. This helps us to evaluate candidates extensively and find candidates who match our requirements.
