A sincere thank you for your heartfelt feedback. We are grateful that you took the time and effort to give such detailed feedback!
Thank you for your advice as well ... We will certainly introspect and see how to improve in these aspects.
But one thing we do not agree with is your suggestion to not hire freshers! We firmly believe that freshers are an asset, they build the energy and culture of a company. We have hired 20+ freshers this year, and plan to hire 25 more very soon ... We will continue to invest in hiring and training freshers in the future as well.
Here is our response to your critical feedback points -
1) Process improvements - Yes, as in any company there is scope for us to improve our processes and establish a method of working that makes it easy. We keep trying new things every few months and keep learning new things ...
Lots of processes have been established and more are in the works ...
Training processes - we now have processes for identifying required training courses and material, we now have good evaluation tests, to give feedback to candidates if they are doing well or not. We are in the process of building a training program for existing employees. But all this cannot be done overnight and will take more time. We are committed to making this happen slowly but steadily ...
In project execution, we use agile methodologies, leveraging daily standups, sprints, and best-in-class tools to make all this easy to execute.
In performance feedback, we collect and share objective performance feedback with each individual, and work with them to improve and grow.
Our recruitment and HR processes are improving every month.
Team building processes keep getting better every week.
Our sales and marketing processes are getting established and we are working on improving them steadily.
We have been in business for 11 years now, and we can say confidently that we are improving as a company every year.
Do we have all the processes and systems in place? Not Yet
Are we trying and improving every month, every year? Yes!
2) The cofounders constitute the senior management of the company. All strategic direction, guidance, mentorship, and process establishment are done by senior management as in any other company.
3) Feedback is an integral part of our company, we take feedback from everyone. All are welcome to suggest changes and positive improvements in the organization. It is unfortunate that you feel you did not have this freedom while you were working with us, We will introspect and explore and see if there is scope for us to fix something here. Thank you for raising this.
4) Co Founders are sincere hard working people trying to build a company the best as they know, learning every day, willing to learn from mistakes and willing to try new things to move forward.
5) Agian if you feel you were micromanaged and not given freedom to think, this is useful feedback for us. We will look into this and see if we can change our communication methods and improve so others do not feel like this.
6) We have found that work from the office is what works for us, yes we accept under some circumstances work from home can also be productive, but we haven't figured out the processes to make this work well this out yet. So we strongly encourage all our team to be co-located in our office for maximum productivity and efficiency.
7) Employees leaving for growth and other personal reasons are expected everywhere. We wish all our employees who leave us all the best and also thank them for the time spent with us.
We never cut salaries during covid, we never downsized during covid, we hired new employees during covid, we gave 21 days of paid covid leave to everyone affected by covid, and we supported all our employees that had to take extended leave due to covid.
Our policies are geared towards making sure the company survives the ups and downs of the market, and we build a great career for all our employees while delighting our customers.
Once again wish you all the best in your career and future!
