Pros
Depending on your department you are working for you may have a great experience and will be able to grow your career. Having close family members is guaranteed success at Hyland.
Cons
Hyland's employee turn over rate has skyrocketed late 2016 and 2017 and not all have resigned. Hyland no longer invests in it's employees and rather hire new ones when a tenured employee raises questions about their future. I myself have to lie to my team about the way Hyland is treating employees, As one of the newer managers I just have to bite my lip and let them know everything is fine. I had to cut raises for my team by almost 2% to makeup for our department not losing overtime. Most departments lost overtime but gave out higher raises, those who did not lose overtime cut raises. I have to hire 3 new people this year and budgets are going to cause me hiring lower standard people with less experience. Also this year the reviews of employees have changed. My team is no longer rated on quantity or quality of work, But how they fit into the Hyland culture. My best workers are now being rated poorly because they work hard all day long, But don't quite fit into the culture. Meanwhile some of my team members who work poorly are high rated because they fit into the culture. I have tasked my 2 team leads to evaluate everyone and try and find a balance. Some of my team complain that the Work Life balance does not work for them as we are mostly hands on and require to be visible across the company during business hours. My team cannot work from home or even at times take PTO time at the same time as other team members.
