Pros
The people who actually do the work at Hyland are of the best people I've ever known and they are like family to me.
Cons
Outrageously low salary, nearly impossible to move up in the company and constant mishandled business decisions that really beat down the morale of the staff. They recently laid off almost 200 people with a 30 minute pre-recorded webinar disguised as a quarterly meeting, after which we were locked out of our machines and never given the chance to say good bye. The company then turned around and announced they were hiring over 300 new positions overseas. This happened during a global pandemic in the dead of winter during the company's best financial year ever. They clearly do not care about their staff anymore and are only interested in maximizing their profits at the expense of those who got them there and at the expense of the quality of the product. Customers are ultimately the ones that will suffer for this.
