11yIMS has experienced a 4 percent turnover rate during the last eight years of our existence; even less prior to that. While we consider any turnover (except retirement) as unacceptable in terms of our hiring and management practices, we constantly strive to reduce our turnover rate. Our current turnover rate of 4 percent is significantly under the national average or what is considered to be an unhealthy turnover rate by SHRM (typically over 10 percent is unhealthy). Many of the Employees that left IMS which made up the 4 percent did so because of retirement or other lifestyle changes. In addition to our low turnover rate, we are extremely proud to have added over 30 net new jobs during this same time frame and experienced tremendous growth rates. We had to hire a lot of people very quickly which is good in one sense because we believe that job creation is one of the civic duties of a small business. We have attained the Inc. 5000 list of the fastest growing companies in America three years running (2011, 2012 & 2013). This accomplishment has never been attained by any other Company in our industry (AV Systems Integration) and very few in Event Staging. We have been profitable every year of our existence since 1994 and offer a financially secure environment for our Team. We are very proud of our people and their accomplishments. We consider our Team to be the very best in AV and do everything possible to retain our top performers.....they are what make the difference and what makes IMS a great company.
