IMS has four Divisions including Event Staging, Productions, System Integration and Managed Services. Many members of our team have moved laterally or have been promoted from one Division to the other. We currently have approximately six team members that moved from an Event Staging Technician to various other positions when they decided that the travel associated with the job/industry, no longer suited their lifestyle. Every one of them was afforded the same pay level (for a lateral move) or greater (if it entailed a promotion). We are very proud that we have a number of career paths available for our Team. In terms of employee development, both our Department Managers and Owners map out a career path for every employee. The path consists of IMS training as well as performance initiatives, goals and objectives that the employee is responsible for attaining. When new positions are open, IMS looks internally first to fill all positions. When employees are ready, we promote them. When we don't have qualified candidates internally, we look externally. Of the 78 current employees, over 40 have been promoted from within during their 2-13 year tenure with IMS. Of our six Executive Managers, five were promoted from within.
