Pros
- People here at Toronto office were friendly and always made effects on writing high quality code
Cons
- The salary and compensation were below market average at Toronto. - Longer no pension probation period, longer leaving notice period. Salary were paid monthly basis rather than bi-weekly like other companies; so IONTrading could earn more interests by holding cash longer in their bank account. - Senior management can't be worse. This is a private-owned company and unfortunately, the Toronto office is not a "core" players in the company. Everything is controlled by the top level management, no transparency. - The business people are the first class citizen while developers are at the bottom. Developers are required to do whatever BAs want to do, even if it's impossible.
