      Great product, Great CEO, but feeling undervalued - Principal Solutions Engineer Imprivata Employee Review

      Pros

      Love the solution and industry we work in. It feels like we are providing a valuable solution in a valuable industry (healthcare). I find my work really enjoyable and I have great flexibility and I am not micromanaged.

      Cons

      Bills are rising fast and even though I've had a promotion, the pay increase was small. Our sales have been growing year on year, but the targets have been raised too high so I'm making less and less bonus than previous years. This has all impacted me financially so I only have enough to pay all my bills and struggle to do any extra activities which seems crazy.

      Pros

      New CEO is smart, capable, and doing a good job Benefits were good Catered lunch in the office each Wednesday

      Cons

      Toxic middle management - yelling, tantrums, and retaliation on top of extreme incompetence. Managers fail to lead and are essentially micromanagers of tasks. They create meaningless work, stress out about it, and fail to validate the business need at any point in the process. When you suggest and deliver something of actual value, you will receive no credit. Honestly this was the worst experience of my entire professional career and I’ve never been so thankful to leave an organization.
