Pros
1. Extremely good projects. Good autonomy and eventually reliable design choices are accepted 2. Colleagues and co-workers seem very supportive. 3. My hackathon teammates pretty much support me on phenomenal projects 4. Manager is quite technical focused. Not a very tech-focussed manager so they plan with us as a team. Has good mission and seems to care very much for their employees well being. 5. Good hold of networking knowledge. In asoan of 3 years learning about gRPC, protobuf, frontend knowledge, backend python knowledge, IPSec, FIPS, NIAP all through actual real projects that customers use from the get go. Absolutely join if you want to learn all these things
Cons
1. Weird lateral growth process. Apparently colleagues had to tender resignations and then were given lateral career movement opportunities. Officially seen colleagues have to spend 3-5+ years in a role to even get the green signal to apply for lateral career shift. 2. Better for employees to look for career changes from a different company if you intend to have a career shift. 3. Was toxic initially. Definitely had to pull in years of OT since got work dumped on. Had to get really assertive at saying no to projects so now Work life balance is there for the most part. But have to work long hours (~ 10-11 hours) and at times regular team support is lacking. Be very assertive about getting help if you want to work here.
