Interstate Batteries

Is this your company?

I've been around for several years, so it must be good. - Route Sales Manager Interstate Batteries Employee Review

Pros

The franchise owner of the location where I work doesn't require a graduate degree for my position of route sales manager. My position pays well, but you definitely grow your gloves in this line of work. (rough hands) The five day work week is a big plus. You get to know so many different people, their backgrounds, and hobbies, that the day becomes quite enjoyable, and goes by rather quickly.

Cons

When your day starts at 6 am and ends at 6 pm, it makes for a long day. It is labor intensive, but it keeps you from having to pay for a gym membership. This is not a job that the average person would be able to do for 40 years. (physically)

Pros

Interactive culture with nice people.

Cons

Unaligned executive decisions. The new projects that come around seem emergent and not well researched.
