Pros

Given that Invesco knows that they are not very competitive from a compensation standpoint, they remain very flexible with work life balance. Required time in office, but still supportive of a hybrid approach despite the industry changing. People are mostly good people and authentic.

Cons

Invesco does not want to be THE leader in anything. They are comfortable letting other firms blaze the trail. The firm strategy is fairly straightforward and mirrors other firms across the industry. There is an incredible amount of bureaucracy and several specialist teams required to get involved in even the smallest of initiatives. There are a ton of committees and councils and various levels of formal collaboration that are well-intentioned but ultimately make Invesco very slow to market in just about every facet. But again, not intending to lead - they are quite comfortable with that pace. It will be interesting to see if there is a path towards revenue growth that emerges; it’s not yet visible. Most plans insist on making do with what we’ve got.

Pros

Good opportunity for advancement if you can find the right people to guide you

Cons

Terrible management who has no sales experience. After making one call you will have more experience than your manager.
