Supportive team with fast-paced learning opportunities - Senior IT Engineer J4 Systems Employee Review

I worked at J4 for a few years, and the employees there are great. They have excellent customer service skills, and I was happy to be a part of their team.

I've been working at J4 for nearly 7 years. Currently my role is the Technical Operations Director, but I started out as a Project Engineer. There is always room for growth for those that are self motivated, hard working, and with the company's best interest at heart. We have several employees that have been with J4 for over 7 years, and that is rare in a small IT based company. I have a high respect for the ownership, management team, and all employees working for J4.

Technical consulting can be a stressful environment, especially for those that come from an in-house IT position into a billable consulting role. Not only are you responsible as an engineer to provide skillful and quality services, but you are also responsible for understanding your role as a consultant and billable requirements. J4 management is constantly working on improving internal processes and working with engineers to make this role second nature. Since we know the consulting world can be stressful at times, we also do a lot to make our environment a fun place to make up for it.
