I worked at K8 Applied Innovation for about a year. The team in Manila is very friendly and works very hard. Everyone wants to succeed and supports each other as much as possible. Working in a creative environment with flexibility in work-related tasks was great.
Cons
However, there's something to be said about working for an over-reaching American CEO who has poor business practices and is all-around unethical. When you are born into money and can simply throw it at your failing businesses, you forget that your workers are actually people, too. Perhaps that's why he has had a rough time at a bunch of different already-failed business ventures. K8 is essentially a shell company of the failing CEO's other businesses.
I worked here for a short period of time, but the grass is 100% greener on the other side.
