Pros
Lots of talented developers. Plenty of learning opportunities. Decently stocked kitchen, and clean office. Decent yearly bonuses. The product is solid, which makes working on it both challenging and rewarding.
Cons
Within the first month of employment, CTO asked to post a positive review to boost Glassdoor rating, which seems inorganic. Base salary took a fair deal of negotiation. No 401(k) match during my employment. No stocks/options during my employment. Most dev teams did not follow Agile methodology, which lead to constantly shifting priorities. Multiple large projects juggled at once made feature work progress slowly, frustrating management and putting pressure on the teams to work overtime quite often. CTO was too heavily involved in low-level product decisions. Management (especially the CEO) did not take kindly to any kind of criticism, constructive or not. Lastly, culture-wise, there's was not a whole lot of team building/outings, which made the other teams feel like strangers that you happened to work with from time to time.
