Pros
WFH while they slightly changed recently their approach. In cork it's compulsory to go to the office. Which is an old noisy building, absolutely not fit for purposes. An event from time to time. They provide most of the material (monitor, mouse, keyboard etc) Health insurance (normally) day one. If entry or mid level workload is ok even boring on some markets. Product is good but the boss (CCO CEO whatever I have no clue) is messing up every week so you can face disruption... With no warning and it's usually coming from him
Cons
Perks are jokes (pension is bare minimum and 20 days off) Communication is messy at best. The HR is a joke and everyone will warn you about them from the beginning. Insurance is day one but they won't let you have it before end of training period (can be 4 weeks or 3 months) All decisions are in the US, do not expect any sort of career growth in EMEA. Salary depends on what you do obviously but not overly good, pretty basic. Let's talk about communication: being disrespectful to an employee on slack is not ok, Be respectful period, the founders want to go public soon (rumors...) everything is happening in the US Honestly pay is not great for B2B, but that's the case everywhere, you get to meet the client and endure it, but the wages are average. Slack is all over the place, no distinct channels. If you post in the wrong one, you will be reminding quite sharply by one of the boss Also IT gets hammered regularly by the CEO, maybe you can reach out your team directly instead of shouting at people on a public place. Vibes are generally off, no real communication. The recruitment process is really awful. Job description is embellished compared to your actual job No social connection what so ever and that was for me an important part of it because you WFH you need to connect. Endless useless meetings nothing much done
