Pros

Product is really great and new AI features are game changing for lawyers and the legal industry. There are some really good people who work here and really care about the clients and the product. Generally, people are friendly Breakfast and lunch every week, barista every morning, social events. Goals set every quarter - you know exactly what you’re working toward (though sometimes this can change)

Cons

Honestly, senior management is terrible and seems dysfunctional. Very cliquey culture, it’s political and if you’re not close to the CEO and her pose, then you’re a threat. There are senior managers who should not be in the positions they are and it seems they are only because of close relationships. They don’t know how to manage people. The recent restructure was deplorable - people were made redundant, those left behind were moved into new “verticals” , some given new jobs but no idea what it meant. The leaders had no idea what was happening and communication was terrible. Literally everyone had to help on HelpDesk because they sacked too many HelpDesk staff. So many resignations after that. Then, they went and undid the vertical structure and went back to the way it was. The CEO is a bully, is rude, and only protects her favourite people, including her sister.

Pros

- Flexible working arrangements, remote but there is an office if you wish to go in. - Lots of opportunities to work on interesting projects and have visibility. - Kind and genuine exec team. The structure feels flat and everyone is very approachable. - Everyone is responsive, helpful and solutions focused. - Great HR function - we had a company retreat last year, there is a mentorship program.

Cons

- The US team only has so much control over the product and strategy, since the HQ is in Sydney -Work is relatively fast-paced, but its reasonable compared to most other workplaces.

Pros

LEAP has what use to be a strong product and a huge market presence, especially in the legal-tech space. The work itself can be interesting, and many colleagues across regions are talented, driven, and genuinely want to help clients. The challenges are mostly global culture.

Cons

There is little consistency across teams, and a lot depends on which manager you end up with. Burnout is extremely common. HR is not willing to address issues, so problems repeat. It’s not an environment where people feel supported, and internal behaviour doesn't reflect the values advertised publicly.
