Pros

New technology, and very challening work environment. Get to travel to some pretty interesting places. A lot of awesome people.

Cons

I was placed in a situation where I had a new manager, who was in over his head and took it out on me. When I spoke up about his bullying, I was silenced. A few highlights: - I was told to let him know whenever I recieve a request from someone besides him. When I started doing this he became infuriated and wrote me a message telling me that he could replace me with someone he found on the street. HR was made aware of this, and couldn't even bother to lift a finger. - I was diciplined for saying "awesome" in a meeting, even though one of the company values is "be awesome". - I was got in trouble for not working hard enough, even though I was working 60 hour + weeks, and led meetings every Saturday and Sunday for nearly 6 months. The manager was not aware of this because he frequently skipped meetings and lied about his attendance. - I was told on multiple occasians that I was worthless, and didn't deserve my title. He even forwarded my job description and asked if I met it (it was even the wrong job description!). When I pointed this out I was told I was disrespectful. HR was informed of this and did not care. - I was accused of undermining the manager for completing tasks in my internal development plan, which he signed. When I brought up he told me he changed his mind. HR was informed, they did not care. - Obviously due to all of this drama I looked into a transfer, which the manager blocked. Ironically a few months after my departure the manager transferred departments. - After recieving a stellar performance review I was suddenly placed on a PIP, which is highly unusual. I asked for a mid year review with feedback from others, and he refused to do this, even though it was my right in the Employee Handbook. HR was informed, they did not care. - Manager never bothered to learn company culture, this is because he was a remote employee. After my departure he suddenly became an onsite employee. - During this ordeal I filed a harrasment complaint. HR never contacted me for an interview, and I was just told "This is not harrasment, bye". - I also tried to call the internal help line. It was not connected to anything. -
