Pros
Note that this review was what happened before the layoffs. Stress and work life balance depends on luck and team. - you can push as hard as you want and climb as much as you want. - you are given the agency to make decisions - great colleagues - my Chinese improved - dingtalk and lark are great compared to teams and confluence - things move quickly and you see initiatives go live - competent teammates - work life balance wasn’t too bad but you do have to manage your workload - possible travel opportunities if you are in the regional team
Cons
- high expectations and quality of analysis requires a lot of time - big campaigns require monitoring. It usually starts at 8pm and ends anytime from 3am to much later. Some teams have to take turns monitoring 24 hours - after the layoffs, it seems like much more meetings are in Chinese - team moral has dropped a lot and many friends are trying to leave - 5 day wfo
