      Pros

      Good working hours for a lawyer and WFH possible

      Cons

      Temperamental and hard to please bosses, rude to subordinates. IT systems are outdated and there is a lot of administrative work as a lawyer. Poor management in general. bad deal flow which is why hours are good, results in you doing different categories of work which you did not sign up for. pay is substandard and below market rate, with stingy bosses who believe that the pay is at market rate

      Pros

      Corporate department is generally very friendly, boss is really willing to train and teach, very intelligent and respectable boss who is very thorough and solid as a lawyer. Hours are what you would expect in a law firm, but perhaps slightly more balanced.

      Cons

      Slow progression and poor benefits, but decent for a medium sized firm in all fairness.
