Run Away - Senior Director Levi Strauss Employee Review

Terribly arrogant Executive Leadership Team. Dysfunction and siloing at the C level. Like several cats all going their own direction and giving the middle finger to the other C-Levels. CEO would speak for every one of the thousands of employees. For example, he told us his expectations of how to vote in presidential elections and ridiculed any opposing opinions. He spent most of his time speaking to us by preaching his personal views. He would frequently chastise all of the hundreds/thousands of us on all hands calls as if he were talking to toddlers. While I was there, a dishonest, manipulative VP got my boss fired, then their boss fired and took on all staff from both roles. I am not sure how anyone ever believed anything he said. Even during the interviews, this person set off my manipulative liar instincts. There was a C level that routinely made silly, illogical decisions that negatively impacted the organization and his directs did their best to hide the results from them. This leader still works there. Most working staff were conditioned to do as little as possible and as poorly as possible making any progress challenging. There was a contracted firm that seemed to adhere to the CEO's practice of chastising everyone for everything. They were highly protected by the Leadership Team.
