Positive Experience - Manager LifeStraw Employee Review

Lifestraw is an ever growing, hardworking, caring company. I enjoyed my time working there. The company has great benefits, great management style, and endless opportunities for growth. Their humanitarian efforts alone are a huge part of why I wanted to be a part of the team.

No cons, just miss working there. Thankful for the support and encouragement I received when deciding to leave to be at home with my small children.

The mission is great and your work does matter. Non-leadership team members are great to be around.

A lot of turnovers for such a small US team. Not much diversity outside of the international offices. Leadership Team- They do not lead. There are no solid plans, and the plans they do have seem scattered and last minute. Some "leaders" do not have much experience outside of LifeStraw and are not good at managing people. They will throw their team under the bus to save face with the CEO. Leadership will claim this is a flat organization and is open to feedback but will not be receptive to suggestions, criticism, or questions. The CEO is also the most inappropriate person I have met professionally and if a man did half of what she does it would probably be on the news.
