Pros

You have a job but never know how long.

Cons

You will get fired. The tech leadership thinks they can hire folks and experiment with their careers however they want. This company fired more full-time tech employees than they currently have. Btw, groups other than tech aren't that bad, if you're a desperate job seeker.

Pros

The company is incredibly inclusive and transparent. I have worked for a lot of orgs that operate in strict silos that are constantly gating information, which leads to a lot of duplicate work and wasted effort. Link Money isn't like that at all. We are all working together towards the same goals and everyone is truly excited about the product and the company. Everyone is incredibly respectful and hustling together toward success. Link Money is also remote/hybrid which provides a lot of flexibility for folks.

Cons

As with any start-up, you will wear a lot of hats and work really hard. Not really a con, just something to be aware of.

Pros

The only real positives are the competitive pay and decent benefits. Exposure to multiple areas happens out of necessity, not intention, because the company is understaffed. You can learn a lot here, but only because you’re forced to figure everything out on your own.

Cons

There is effectively no leadership. The CEO is disconnected, dismissive of employee concerns, and operates without any regard for building a healthy culture or sustainable organization. Teams are stretched thin, people are doing the work of multiple roles without support or structure, and burnout is common. There is no real training, direction, or strategy just constant scrambling and reactionary decision-making.
