This comes back to the autonomy piece, but LiveRamp isn't great at top-down directives. As such, in order to get stuff done, it's absolutely essential to get buy-in from stakeholders. This isn't necessarily a bad thing, just different from most larger companies. It's also a fairly chaotic organization. Things move fast and we definitely don't always get things right the first time. Sometimes progress can feel like two steps forward and one step back, but overall it trends positively.
Also, transitioning between roles within the company can be a little messy. It's not uncommon for people to end up with responsibilities from their old role carrying over into their new role. From my perspective, this isn't the ideal way to do transitions.
Work-life balance is what you make it here. There's always more that needs to be done but it's up to individuals to find a good balance between executing against objectives and having a life outside of work.
