Pros
very very flexible! I was able to have two other jobs along with this job, they would let me know a week or two in advance how my schedule was. Sometimes I would only go to work for about two hours depending on the patients coming in and how long the doctor took.
Cons
no benefits, sometimes it can get a bit boring when the doctor is in the room for so long so you have to really find things to do if everything your job asked for is done.
