Pros

They'll hire people with no experience in the software industry into roles with decent titles and with market based salaries. There are some great people at the company.

Cons

Almost everyone has left the company at this point, a mix of layoffs and people leaving, certainly everyone who had other job options has left. People are promised a fair compensation package, but what is actually received is different than what is promised. Sales people don't make good commissions because it's not possible to sell what they're asking for. The stock options they give out are worthless because the strike price is so high that they'll never sell the company for enough to get the options 'in the money.' Very sneaky.

Sorry to hear you feel this way. We have gone through a tough product launch in 2019 and are very happy about our (significant) progress to date. Additionally, our employee's stock options strike price is extremely low (most employee's pay just a few hundred dollars for tens of thousands of dollars in stocks).

Pros

The only remotely positive thing would be that there were snacks and occasional free weekly lunches.

Cons

Reading any of the previous negative reviews are exactly accurate about the company and culture. Engineering is treated as a disposable department. They just hire across the globe and wonder why their product is an inferior product. Investors have been fooled. Management has no clue how to run a company and simply speaks in the form of,... "at my last company".. instead of providing any real constructive value and strategy. Management plays the victim card all the time and takes zero feedback from employees, even though management tries to sound genuine, they are far from it. This place is the epitome of a micromanagement culture. Anyone who opposes the COO is seen as a bad employee instead of one who could actually help progress the product. This company has unrealistic expectations but when this is fully realized their only response is to point fingers and blame others instead of looking in the mirror. I could write forever but realistically it is not worth it here so I leave with this: I do not recommend working here because you will likely be fired or want to quit in 6 months as has been the trend.
