Pros

Though the experience was horrible, I endured for as long as I could for the pay and health benefits.

Cons

Maybe I'm just unlucky to be a part of a toxic team with arrogant members and a hostile manager. They laugh at you when you ask questions, so I avoided asking and just kep to myself! I felt awfully miserable, and stressed, with lots of anxiety!

I am sorry you did not have a good experience with your team, but am surprised by this review. I also wish I knew more about the specifics of the situation to be able to address it. As a small team (13 people) we don't have a separate HR department, so we rely on team leaders to do 1 on 1s and check in with folks on their team. CSMs have been part of a vibrant CX team that includes solutions engineers and prior to mid-2024 the team was run by a long time Mapistry leader (Chief Customer Officer) who is probably one of the most empathetic, supportive people I know. She also held regular 1 on 1s with her team and regularly discussed how folks within the team were doing with workloads and where they needed help. Potentially, I as one of the co-founders missed how the team was functioning, but frankly this review is very surprising to come from a CSM.

Pros

You will learn only one lesson here: how your ego can destroy the workplace ambience and how you can avoid it.

Cons

The ego of the founders was too fragile. These evil people fought amongst each other and made things awfully uncomfortable for the staff. Employees witnessed their aggressive and poor behavior almost every day. Some even feared talking to these horrible people. It ruined the workplace ambience and made day-to-day life ridiculously stressful.
