Pros
You can work from home. Thats about it. New manager on the support team is clueless and seems lost. Making changes for the sake of making changes to show that his hire was needed. It wasn't.
Cons
As a contract worker they view you as less than part of the time and easily replaceable. They have a gigantic new office but there is no place to set up the customer support team. Everyone else works remotely, so there is absolutely no way to feel like you're part of the team, other than a slack channel. They don't even provide a laptop to do your job on. I had to use my own personal laptop. The went out of their way to exclude contract workers from the company holiday party, when they hired us specifically for the holiday season. Initial contract was only 3 months, but they kept asking me to stay on month to month. Approached them repeatedly and expressed interest in becoming a full time employee, but they do not plan to hire internally for CS. Found out on the 1 year anniversary of working for Masterclass that my contract is not being renewed, and am being replaced with lower priced contractors. I was already making less than a living wage in San Francisco. This company has the money to invest in their customer support team, but they refuse.
