Pros

There are some great people within the various departments and the company was created with a great vision.

Cons

Micromanagement runs rampant within this organization with employees joking about being fired on Fridays at 8am for no reason because it happens so often. If you do not play the games of the powers that be, you will find yourself a group of enemies before you can return to your desk from a meeting. Don't get too comfortable as turnover is higher than other tech companies and the awards they brag about are often "pay to play" type recognitions.

Pros

Menlo is a fast paced Core Values driven organization. The culture is to go above and beyond to problem solve for our clients. That culture fosters incredible loyalty both internally and externally.

Cons

Some teams are just now being organized in a way that fosters clear career development opportunities.

Pros

Outside of upper management, most of the people I worked with were great people.

Cons

This is hands down the worst place I have ever worked. Long hours, terrible pay, constantly understaffed, upper management is heartless and only care about money, turnover rate is about 90%. The average lifespan is about 6 months, People either burnout and quit, or you are let go and replaced with someone cheaper. If it is your first day on the job, it is common that it’s someone’s last day. you aren’t trained for anything, you aren’t given proper tools to do your job, This job is a foot in the door at best. If you somehow manage to stay for a long period of time, it will hold you back in your career. You will learn next to nothing working here. My advice to anyone considering working here, don’t waste your time. It’s a dead end and you will never advance your career here. There are much better opportunities with employers that actually want to invest in you, advance your career, and actually care about work/life balance.
