      I'm in my 23rd year at Mercer...for MANY reasons! First, the people I work with are reliable, intelligent, driven, and passionate about delivering the best quality products and services to our clients. The company values of Passion, Respect, Integrity, Innovation, Dedication, and Empowerment align with my own. I have been able to telecommute full time nearly my entire career, and as a single mother, this flexibility has allowed me to flourish while providing for my son.

      While being a worldwide, large firm has many benefits, I sometimes feel a little disconnected to upper management.

      -Trustworthy immediate colleagues -Good work/life balance and flexibility

      Cons

      -Little career pathing within company. Organization is extremely siloed, and cheap as they simply aren't interested in paying for small things to advance one's career like local industry conferences and events such as team holiday dinners that would have minimal impact on the company's bottom line. -Pay not aligned with skills or talent marketplace -One would think a benefits/career consultant would have decent pay and benefits. This is not the case
