      Pros

      The firm has integrity and is well respected. The resources and capabilities are outstanding and no other firm has more. You can have pride working for Mercer. The employees are very dedicated and collaborative.

      Cons

      The firm is slow to replace and add to staff. Workloads are tough, and you have to make a conscience effort to maintain work-life balance. I've learned to set limits, but for those who have trouble, they will work too much and be in danger of burnout.

      -Trustworthy immediate colleagues -Good work/life balance and flexibility

      Cons

      -Little career pathing within company. Organization is extremely siloed, and cheap as they simply aren't interested in paying for small things to advance one's career like local industry conferences and events such as team holiday dinners that would have minimal impact on the company's bottom line. -Pay not aligned with skills or talent marketplace -One would think a benefits/career consultant would have decent pay and benefits. This is not the case
