      The people are mostly great.

      Cons

      The company touts work/life balance and culture as its main attractors. Well, I took this job for the work/life balance aspect. Ended up working as many hours as I would've at a Big 3 firm, but for 60% of the pay and 10% of the prestige. The work is dull and doesn't lend itself to great/worthwhile skill acquisition. Takes multiple years to have a voice in the meeting room.

      -Trustworthy immediate colleagues -Good work/life balance and flexibility

      Cons

      -Little career pathing within company. Organization is extremely siloed, and cheap as they simply aren't interested in paying for small things to advance one's career like local industry conferences and events such as team holiday dinners that would have minimal impact on the company's bottom line. -Pay not aligned with skills or talent marketplace -One would think a benefits/career consultant would have decent pay and benefits. This is not the case
