Pros
Merchology knows how to bring great people together to collaborate, support each other, and achieve goals. The sales team has great support from every department better service customers and reach your goals. There is continuous sales training and company training that is really helpful to improve your skillset. The CEO and President are always willing to answer questions, join customer meetings, and they are transparent about company performance. There is a lot of opportunity and if you put in the work, you will be recognized for it! It is fun to sell brands and products that customers know and love, and work with Fortune 500 companies.
Cons
It is a fast paced and ever-changing work environment, so you need to be willing to adapt. The leadership team is very good at explaining why change is being made and they invite other opinions and ideas. Typically a change is made to better serve customers or improve processes. There is no shortage of work and no two days are the same!
Pros
Seasonal discounts on nice brands Paid volunteering Dogs on Friday (used to be beer Fridays!) Some awesome co-workers
Cons
Extremely unprofessional childish and vindictive leadership, This is one of the worst companies I've worked for. They have employees submit favorable reviews to push the bad ones down. These are extremely easy to spot, no one thinks this place is an amazing company unless you're the ones running it. On top of being toxic and manipulative, they do not respect their employees. They use intimidation tactics and make sure it's known that any type of feedback or questioning of their business practices then you will be targeted. They make changes at the drop of a hat and do not give any room for adjustment, yes, we know that welcoming change is in your core values and many handle these changes impeccably, Merchology just fails to communicate them and it is hard to take seriously when it is blatant that leadership does NOT know what they are doing. I honestly could go on and on...
